2T5 Mid-Career Achievement Award
cannon

This award is made each year in recognition of a member of that University of Toronto Engineering class celebrating the 25th anniversary of its graduation. The award is made to a member of the class who has earned respect within the profession and in the broader Canadian community, and who has already attained significant achievement and gives promise of further contributions.

The award was created by enthusiastic alumni of the Class of 2T5 and has been presented annually since 1975. It features a circular medal embedded in lucite with the inscription "In Recognition of Meritorious Service in and for the Profession". The reverse side has the Faculty name and Coat-of-Arms, with the year 1925 circled by a ring, symbolizing that the Class of 2T5 was the first class in Canada to receive iron rings at The Ritual of the Calling of an Engineer.
