Download Shell-2000

Triax-2000 represents many months of work and over 20 years of research carried out at the University of Toronto. We wish to make this program available to the engineering community at no charge as we believe it to be in the best interests of the profession. We do want to know who is using the program, however, and be given feedback on strengths and weaknesses. Effectively there is no financial charge, but there is in an information charge: we want to know who you are!

To receive a copy of the program, fill in the forms at the bottom of this page. We will not make the information entered here available to anybody: it is for our internal bookkeeping only. All fields below are required to be filled out to receive Shell-2000.

Shell-2000 is a win32 application which means that it will run under Windows/95 or Windows/NT. The program requires about 1 Megabyte of disk space. It is suggested that the program not be run on slower computer than a Pentium-200 to ensure acceptable performance.

While every effort has been made to ensure that Shell-2000 is correct, it is still a work in progress and therefore should not be used for design. Shell-2000 is noticably less numerically stable than Response-2000/Membrane-2000/Triax-2000. Any use of the program for any purpose is done solely at the risk of the user. We cannot be held responsible for the use of this version of Shell-2000.
